When are you going to roll over??

Hi my darling!

I started the day, the same as yesterday with your sweet hugs and kisses in the bed. Daddy and I cuddled up with you for awhile and you just laughed and smiled at us, making happy noises and sounds as we played with you first thing in the morning. Once, we were all fed, ( you ate your Gentlease with rice cereal again and loved it)  showered, and changed, we dropped you off at Grammie/Grampie house for a little while today.

Daddy and I had plans to hng with Auntie Cindy and Uncle Jay as grown ups for a little today so we could spend a little more time together. We took them to our favorite video game store, Blue Dragon. I'm sure, by now, you know all about Blue Dragon, but for now, we're going to say that it's our favorite weekend shop that our friends work in and we go every weekend to say hi and visit with everyone. Anyway, Daddy wanted to show Uncle Jay this store and we enjoyed spending time with them again today. They came back and saw Ariel and we drove back and dropped them back off. Then we headed back to pick you up.
In theory, it was a great idea to have grown up time. But in reality, mommy missed the heck out of you, little girl! It felt like we were having another family function and you being there was just a missing piece and I didn't realize I felt sad. It goes to show me that even though sometimes I get flustered or feel like I'm not doing a good enough job for you, I am really doing the best I can for you and try my absolute best. I am so in love with you. Every noise, every peep you make, every smile or frown I see, my heart grows bigger and bigger with love for you. Never did I think I could love anything more than your father, but you, my sweet, are my everything.
We had a good rest of the night at home, you played with your playpen dudes while I cooked dinner. I had my hands in pork chops when I looked over and you were trying and about 75% into a roll. I squealed and daddy ran over and we kept encouraging you to roll. I know you will on your own time and I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings!
Good night, my sweet!
xoxo

Pictures From The Weekend- Part 1

July 30, 2016

Good morning sweetheart.
Today started out as an amazing with your sweet hugs. I woke up to daddy’s voice saying, “Good morning, mama. Baby is up to see you.” Being half-awake, I had daddy had you to me and you and I cuddled in our bed for a little bit. You had your pacifier and just snuggled up against my chest. It is moments like those that I am so in love with. I, now, realize that it is flying by. You are close to 3 months old and I feel like you have changed so much in so little time. I love being your mommy. Plain and simple! You are the cutest thing and I spend hours watching your different faces and expressions.
Uncle Jay and Auntie Cindy were in town for a few days so Maw-maw and Paw-paw were having a party of family. So, we started the day by daddy cutting the grass and mommy giving you a bath on the counter in the kitchen in your baby bathtub, Boy, you love being in water. You didn’t cry until I took you out of it. All of us headed to Grampie and Grammie’s house, first, to say hi before going to Port Orange.
You have been having tummy problems for about 2 weeks or so. You came home from the hospital taking Gentlease and for weeks that seemed to fine with you and your tummy. However, about 2 weeks about or so, you started crying a lot during your feedings and farting and burping a lot. You seemed like you would be ok for an hr after eating and then scream and cry so loud, your face would be bright red and you were having trouble breathing. Mommy felt so bad and Dr. Orezzoli wanted to change your formula to a different kind called Nutramigen. We tried it for the last 2 days, but you were liking it very much, spitting up way too much. We had to call Dr. Orezzoli today who told us to switch back to Gentlease formula and add rice cereal to help with spitting up.

When we got to Maw-maw’s house, you woke up happy and played in Uncle Jay and Auntie Cindy’s arm. We had lots of family and fun times; everyone was loving you and your cuteness We even went in the pool. Mommy and daddy went in the water and it felt great to swim like a child again; then you spent some time in the water with both of us. Your first rice cereal experience was good; I think you liked it. Mommy had to change the nipple size and then you ate almost 10 oz that bottle before bed.
I am loving taking pictures of you and seeing the way your facial expressions change so fast with everything that goes on. You look so intense sometimes, purely trying to take in everything. You like the loudness of the family and often like to look back and forth and around to he different voices you hear, You are going to get your first round of shots in a couple days and I'm a little nervous to how you will do. Currently, both you and daddy are asleep and I am up watching Apollo 13 and writing away. I do love you, my little peanut. I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings with you.
